New hardware on the door. A good fit when a lock is worn or broken, or when you want a different kind of lock.
Keyed alike means one key works every lock you choose: front, back, side and garage. If your locks take the same kind of key blank, they can usually be rekeyed to match. A lock that takes a different blank may need to be swapped first.
No. Once the pins change, no old key turns the lock, including any you didn't know were out there.
Most door locks can. Some are too worn, or not made to be rekeyed, and get replaced.
Yes. The new keys are cut to the new pins. Tell us how many people need one.
